Early Life
Tj was born on 22 October 2004 in the Nairobi Eambakasi area. His parents are of different ethnicity. His dad is of Italian-Congolese descent while his mother, Irma Sakwa is Kenyan.
Her mother named her Thank Jesus because she had difficulties while pregnant and delivering well all she could say was thanks to Jesus.
He has two brothers and a sister. His big brother is an artist and his sister works at coke and barrel events.
Education
He is an alumnus of Machakos Boys school. Rumors had it that he was homeschooled but he denied the allegations.
Career
His music journey dates back to when he was in grade 7. He used to write songs and perform in front of his family and friends. His elder brother who is also a musician was a great inspiration to him. He would hang around him when he rapped along to beats online with his friends.
He desired to become a great artist like Khaligraoh Jones who is his mentor.
Other artists that he admires include Sauti Sol, Nyashinski, Femi one, and a few others with who he wouldn’t mind doing a collabo with.
In 2020, Tj surfaced online with his first release. The school had closed due to corona pandemic and measures had been in put place to curb the spread.
This gave him a chance to record a few songs he had written while in school. His flawless rapping skill has made him garner a lot youtube views.
He has released songs like ‘Cheza kama wewe’, ‘bazenga’, and ‘Niko busy‘.
Thank you Jesus was lucky because when he got into the industry, big boys like khaligraph and bien helped him reach more audiences.
In November 2020, he released an album ‘Son Of The City‘ which include the hit song ‘Cheza Kama Wewe’, ‘Niko Busy’ featuring Renata, ‘Bazenga Vile Inafaa’, ‘Zubizuu’, ‘Chonjo’, and ‘Madimanga’.
kasela’s music career is managed by his mother Irma Sakwa. His former manager Fadhili was sucked when it was said that she scammed Trio 100 thousand.

Mario is still in his teenage and has not married yet.

Tj disclosed that he is dating but he didn’t reveal the name of his girlfriend.
According to him, his mom has given him consent to be in a relationship but she expects them to be responsible.
House & Cars
During an interview, Kasela said that he still lives with his mother. Given that he is just completed his studies, it’s fair that he still lives with his mother even if he could afford to buy himself a house.
He also doesn’t own a car as of now.
