Early Life
Ringtone was born in Kisii county in 1989. His father died when he was very young and his mother left him on the streets. However, his uncle took him to his grandmother who raised him until she died. He was forced back into the streets since life wasn’t easy.

He studied at Mombasa High School as his secondary school. Information on whether he has furthered his education remains unknown.
Career
Ringtone produced his first song while he was in high school. His first songs were recorded at Tabasam recording studio in Mombasa.
The song which escalated him into fame was Pamela. The song described a girl who was a Christian but got overwhelmed by worldly desired and dumped Christianity. In the song, he wooed the lady to come back to Christ since he still loved her.
Apart from music, he is set to launch a passenger bus and he recently opened a lavish hotel in Mombasa.
He has collaborated with other musicians such as Gloria Muliro, Zabron singers, and Daddy Owen.

Ringtone is not yet married but has made it known to the public that he is looking for a wife in his song Natafuta Bibi.
He has however been rumored to be with several women including tiktoker Azziad Naisenya. It turned out that they were only together for business. Azziad has been featured in his new song Zoea Mawe and she is not his ideal woman.
Ringtone also expressed his interest in Zari Ugandan socialite and Diamond’s ex-wife. He bought him a range rover which he gave her when she visited Kenya but was turned down.
Ringtone is said to have impregnated a girl Angel Nyambura and denied being responsible for the kid. He hired a tout Phillip Karanja to act as the dad. The information was disclosed by his fellow artist Weezdom. When the lady spoke up, she was threatened and hence couldn’t push more.
