Early Life
Femi One was born on 25th April 1994 in Mwiki kasarani area. Her real name is Wanjiku Kimani and her parents are not yet disclosed.
He has a brother who introduced her to rapping at an early age.
Education
Utawezana hitmaker went to a primary in Nairobi and later joined Gakarara girls high school in Murang’a.
She had the plan to go back to school and pursue a course in media but we are not yet sure if she achieved that.
Career
Wanjiku rappes majority of her song in swahili and sheng. She recorded her first song in 2013.
Her elder brother who loved reggae music introduced her to music. Femi One gradly joined and began crafting her skills at an early age.
When she joined music, she opted to cut her making a major move in the male dominated industry.
She came to limelight when King Kaka featured him in a song ”ligi soo”. She appeared in the song with other female rappers but she was more noticeable due to her flow.
Later, she was signed to Kaka Empire which is a record label owned and managed by King Kaka.
Besides, Her collabo with Mejja on utawezana song positively impacted her music career. The song was greatly accepted by people and still is a club bamnger upto now.
She released her first album, greatness, on May 31, 2021, which consists of 14 tracks featuring artists from East Africa and Zambia.

Wanjiku is single and searching. Her family is her two kids whom she got with fellow artist Nviiri.
She has never revealed any information about her parents or siblings to the public.
Relationships
She had had one messy relationship that left her pregnant with twins. The man believed to be the baby daddy is Nviiri the Storyteller. They had agreed to keep their relationship private until when he denied responsibilities and she exposed him.
